Kolonna Hotel Riga is located in the very centre of the Old Town of Riga, in a building on Tirgonu Street that dates back to the 14th century.
Originally, German merchants constructed these buildings as homes close to the Dom Square. Over the years, many reconstructions were performed and the style of the houses changed significantly. In June 2005, this particular building was reopened as a hotel.
